Pat holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mount Mary University and also holds credentials of License Professional Counselor, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, and Independent Clinical Supervisor with the State of Wisconsin and a Substance Abuse Professional with the Federal Department of Transportation.
Pat understands that life can get a little complicated for many of us at times and everyone has battles and hurdles to overcome. For over 25 years she has worked with individuals and couples to address issues they are facing in life. She realizes no two people are alike, as such her therapy is tailored to meet the needs of her clients.
Pat works with adults and couples both in individual and group settings. She likes to utilize techniques that best fit the clients. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Motivational Interviewing. She is also Trauma Certified Counselor.
She primarily works with clients with mood disorders (depression, anxiety, etc.), substance use concerns, and trauma. Working with clients, she feels it is important to start were the clients are and walk along side them while they are healing.
